I miss you a lot.

I’m still in disbelief sometimes that I can never call or text or see you again. That you’re really gone.

Your memorial was beautiful. So much orange and colors in general all around, I know you wouldn’t have liked everyone to be too gloomy. I was the first to stand up and speak, did you know? I didn’t really have a prepared story or words to say… And after I sat down, I knew there was so much more I could say. But I would’ve gone on forever because there are just so many amazing memories with you. This world won’t be the same without you, my friend.

I was vacuuming the other day and in the middle of it, I just lost it because reality sunk in again. It’s been a little over a month since you’ve been gone and you’re in my thoughts every single day. I can’t even begin to type everything I feel here heh.

Your cousin told me that you would talk about me the most when you were still around heh. I’m truly honored and am glad to have been able to be there for you, though I don’t think I could match how much you’ve done and been there for me. You’ve gone through so so much but were always willing to still give and give. You’ve touched so many lives and I’m so happy to see so much love and support for you.

Thank you for letting me be your friend, your sister, sometimes your mom, and in your life. You’re truly beautiful and inspiring. I really miss and love you. I hope you’re resting easy now, girl.
